The welfare of every child under our care is absolutely paramount. Every Select:ed consultant holds an up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (police check). Our team’s expertise spans academic and pastoral provision, and our approach seeks to balance IQ + EQ.
As an elected, full member of The Tutors’ Association, the regulatory body for one-to-one education, founder of Select:ed Adam D’Souza commits to personally upholding the relevant professional code of practice, including the safeguarding of children. He also commits to demanding the same standards and behaviours from all team members and staff working with children.

All sensitive personal data is held securely, on encrypted servers. Select:ed and its founder Adam D'Souza are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZA787419, fulfilling our obligations under the United Kingdom Data Protection Act.

Select:ed is an independent educational consultancy, based in London and operating across the UK, Middle East and worldwide. We help families select right-fit schools for children aged 3-18, and prepare children for their next step, including entrance assessments to academically selective schools. The Select:ed brand is owned by Adam D’Souza.
Select:ed, or its consultants, cannot warrant or contract to a particular educational outcome for your child, given the complexity and variability of factors beyond our control.
Educational consultancy and assessment services, including Academic Profiler assessments, are provided by Selected Education Consultancy Limited, a company registered in England. Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Company number: 11747599.
Private tutoring may be provided by individual Select:ed consultants as self-employed practitioners. Before contracting with a Select:ed consultant for private tutoring services for your child, you will receive clear and transparent information on Terms and Conditions, fees and pricing models. Private academic tuition delivered by sole traders in the UK is currently exempt from VAT.
